Sabay, Jon Natanael (Rio)

Rio is a Year 8 student who embodies an infectious passion for music in all its forms. Since joining the school a year ago, he has rapidly established himself as a dynamic force within the musical community, founding multiple bands and organising his own library concerts to share his love of music with peers. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Rio plays guitar, piano, and trumpet, with particular strength in guitar and vocals, drawing inspiration from classic artists like the Beatles whilst remaining eager to explore diverse musical genres and styles. Beyond performance, he is now venturing into composition and music production, driven by an open-minded curiosity and determination to expand his musical horizons and master new instruments.
