Sara Dichtwald

My name is Sara Dichtwald, 46 years old and mother of three. I work as an Anesthesiologist and Intensive Care physician in a public hospital. I began playing the piano at the age of 6, and studied in the Givataim Conservatory of Music in Israel, until the age of 20. My piano teacher was Mrs. Hanna Shalgi. . I completed my matriculation exam in music, including a piano recital and a theoretical analysis of one of the pieces performed (Papillons by Schumann). Shortly thereafter I started medical school, and because of the intense nature of my academic studies and career progression, in addition to starting a family, I stopped playing the piano for almost 18 years. After my youngest son was born, I decided to return to the piano.
