Štěpán Jandl

My name is Štěpán Jandl, and I am from the Czech Republic. I am fifteen years old and I’ve now played clarinet for eight years. I live in Polička, which is also the birthplace of well-known composer Bohuslav Martinů. I attend the Polička grammar school and my clarinet teacher is my mum. I have many more hobbies, such as reading, listening to (mostly classical) music or swimming. List of my competitions: March 2022 – 1st place in the Litvínovské dřevohraní competition April 2022 – 1st place in the final round of the competition of Czech music schools November 2022 – I got 1st place and I was an absolute winner of the competition Hraj online! organized by Pardubice Chamber Orchestra December 2022 – 2nd place in The North International Music Competition December 2022 – 1st place and an absolute victory in The World Open Online Music Competition April 2023 – 1st place and an absolute victory in the Litvínovské dřevohraní competition June 2023 - Gold Prize in the World Classical Music Awards September 2023 – 3rd place in Vienna Classical Music Competition November 2023 – 1st place in World’s Best Musician Competition November 2023 – 1st place in Classics Stars International Music Competition December 2023 - 1st place and an absolute victory in The World Open Online Music Competition April 2024 – 1st place in Mládí a Bohuslav Martinů 2024 Competition June 2024 – 1st place in Opus 2024 online Competition October 2024 – 1st place in Gold International Classical Competition
