Thomas Amado

Thomas is an 11‑year‑old trombonist from Victoria, Australia, recognised for his warm tone, musical maturity, and confident stage presence. He currently studies at AMEB Grade 6 level and has achieved notable success in state competition, including 1st Place in the Under 12 Other Brass Solo at the Victorian State Championships. Thomas also performs regularly in chamber ensembles, earning State Champion titles in both the Under 15 Duet/Trio and Under 15 Quartet/Quintet categories. He enjoys lyrical repertoire and theme‑and‑variation works, and continues to develop his artistry through solo performance, ensemble playing, and international competition.
