Tianran Cheng

Tianran Cheng began to study cello at the age of 6 and currently under the guidance of Tao Ni (Faculty of New England Conservatory). Recently she won the Grand Prize Winner in 2022 Irvine Conservatory International Music Competition.

Other notable prizes she received include first prize in Great Composer Masters of Cello Concerto Competition, Paris International Music Competition, New York Golden Classical Music Awards 2021 International Competition, 2021 Canadian International Music Competition, 2019 “China Youth Star”National Youth Arts Festival, 2019 “The Yangtze River Delta”Youth Cello Competition, 2019 “Hummingbird Music Awards”China Youth Music Competition, 2018 & 2019 Shanghai Minhang District Studnents Arts Competition, 2017 Shanghai Youth Cello Competition and 2017 Aiqin Cup International Cello Competition. Second Prize in ENKOR International Competition, Gustav Mahler Prize International Cello Competition, Third Prize in “The Music of Germany & Austria” International Music Competition and Diploma Prize in International Moscow Music Competition.
