Tianyang Cao

Cao Tianyang, currently 21 years old, studied at Shanghai Conservatory of Music High School from 2017 to 2023, majoring in viola, and was taught by Professor Sheng Li. In 2018, he participated in the Fifth Hong Kong International Music Festival and won first place in the middle school division for viola; in 2022, he won second place in the professional C category at the Polish International Musician Competition; and in the same year, he won first prize in the professional junior section for viola concerto at the National "Tianlong Cup" Competition. In September 2023, he was admitted to Shanghai Conservatory of Music with the top score in his major and is currently a sophomore, continuing to study under Professor Sheng Li.
