Composer, orchestra and choir director, pianist and teacher, Portuguese, born in Lisbon but raised in Campo Maior, Alentejo - Portugal, he did most of his musical studies in Spain. He has composed for various instrumentalists and ensembles from all over the world, from Greece, Italy, France, Spain, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Israel, Cyprus, Mexico, Uruguay, Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Germany, Portugal... His catalog contains more than 400 works. Having harmonized and composed more than 100 works. He is a strong supporter of Portuguese poetry. But he has worked with most Romance languages. In 2012, he composed the Cantata "Mar Falante - Mer Parlante", a bilingual Portuguese-French libretto of the Portuguese poet Inez Andrade Paes.
