Vo Minh Quang

My name is Vo Minh Quang, born in 2006 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Born in a family that doesn't follow music but I started studying Organce & Piano when I was 5.5 years old (2011) and officially became a student at Vietnam National Academy of Music (VNAM) when I was 9 years old (2015 ). Now I am a student of the talented class of Doctor, Head of Piano Department, Mr. Dao Trong Tuyen at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Giang Vo Secondary School. I have won several awards in international and national music competitions such as: - First prize in the Young Talent Contest for students from culture and art training institutions nationwide (24 culture and art schools) in 2020 (12-17/12/2020). - First prize in Piano Solo for 10-13 years old - Autumn Music Contest held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Vietnam 12/2019 - First prize and special prize (Grandfix) for 13-17 years old group in 2020 Atlanta Festival Academy Competition, in 06/2020, USA. - First prize in the 17 to 19-year-old group in June 2020; first prize in the 14- to 16-year-old group in June 2019, first prize in the 11- to 13-year-old group in June 2018-The Rising Talents of the Asia & Oceania International Music Competition in London. - First Prize in the Concerto group and second prize in the solo piano group for 18 to 29 year-old group, at the Putra International Piano Competition in Malaysia September 2019; Performing with the Klpacorchestra Orchestra - Kula Lumpur- Malaysia; - First prize in the 18 to 24-year-old group at the 5th Chopin Competition in Thailand in July 2019; First prize in the 13 to 17-year-old group at the 8th Mozart International Competition, July 2018, Thailand; First prize in 13 to 17-year-old group in Thailand’s 4th Chopin Competition, November 2017; First prize in the 10 to 13-year-old-group at the third Chopin Competition in Thailand in November 2016; First prize in the 7 to 9-year-old group at Thailand’s 5th Mozart International Piano Competition, July 2015; - The first and youngest Vietnamese student excellently achieved two Diploma Licentiate of Trinity College London (Trinity, UK, July 2019) and LMuSa - Licentiate of Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB, Australia, August 2019); - Gold medal in the 11 to 13-year-old group at the 4th Manhattan International Music Competition in June 2019. - Grand Prix (Top Prize) in the Young Musician Group (10 to 13 years old), prizes for the most talented contestant, the excellent Ginastera contestant at the 3rd Future Stars International Piano Competition, 12/2018, US; - Full scholarship of Piano Summer course in Hungary 07/2018; Dang Thai Son Scholarship - International Festival in Hanoi 08/2018; Toyota Scholarship for young Vietnamese music talent, April 2017; - First prize in the 11 to 13-year-old group for the 19th and 20th century music in the 3rd Edition The mussic of centeries 19th, The mussic of centeries 20th - International Music Competition in London - UK 05/2018; - The youngest Vietnamese student to pass the music theory exam at level 5 (March 2017) and Piano level 8 (June 2017) with the highest score of ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, UK) and LCM (London College of Music - University of West London, UK); the only Vietnamese one to achieve the maximum LCM scores up to August 2017; - First prize in the 9-to 11-year-old group in the 1st China-Asean Teenagers Piano Competition in August 2015, China… I love the piano so much, I want to become a talented pianist...
