Xinrui Wen
Xinrui (Audrey) is a composer that draws inspiration from classical and film & game music. She was born in Beijing in 2007, and is currently a high school student in Toronto, Canada. First introduced to classical music at the age of three, she attended the Spout & Air Early Childhood Music Class (founded by conductor Luo of the Tsinghua University Choir) weekly with her mother for three years, where she was exposed to a wide range of classical works. She began learning piano at five and joined Conductor Luo's Children's Choir at six, performing with ensembles in the UK, Germany, and the United States. At fifteen, she earned a certificate of distinction from ABRSM for the ARSM diploma in piano performance. In recent years, under the influence of several modern film & game composers, Audrey has developed a strong interest in composition. In July of 2024, she attended a film scoring program at the Berklee College of Music, where she collaborated with mentors and peers to score a scene from Star Wars: Battlefront. In May of 2025, she is glad to have showcased her original musical compositions at the annual BSS Arts Night.
