
Yan Tung Queena Chu
Yan Tung Queena Chu is currently in London studying MA degree at the Royal Academy of Music which is recognised as a well-known international conservatory. Recently she has performed one of the famous concert repertoires, Ravel Piano Concerto in G in Hong Kong. In December 2020, she did a recording in the Duke’s Hall in the Royal Academy of Music. She has been performed in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Hong Kong City Hall since she was four, ranging from J.S Bach to Rodion Shchedrin. Her musical talent was discovered by her mother, a local piano teacher who gave her her very first piano lesson. Queena has been graduated with her BMus degree from the Hong Kong Academy for Performance Arts under the guardians of concert pianist Hui Ling. Currently, she is studying with a British solo recitalist and chamber musician, Colin Stone. With the humble and diligent characteristics that she has, she gave lessons to children for the ABRSM graded exams. She is ceaselessly well prepared for solo as well as chamber concerts and competitions.
