Yanbo Pei

Yanbo began studying piano at the age of five. He completed ABRSM Grade 8 with Distinction and currently studies composition and piano performance with Dr. Ronn Yedidia. He has earned numerous awards in prestigious competitions, including but not limited to: • Semi-Finalist, Junior Level, 2024 MTNA Student Performance Competition (Rhode Island MTA) • Third Prize Winner (Lucy Boyan Balakian Award), Junior B Category, 2024 NYYPP Competition, governed by the Associated Music Teachers League (AMTL) • Silver Medalist, 2024 National Young Maestro Competition (Advanced Category, Ages 12–14) • Gold Medalist (Youth Category), 2024 US–Canadian International Music Competition • First Place Winner, 2023 Elite International Music Competition • Gold Medalist (Youth Category), 2023 Grand Maestro International Music Competition • Second Place , Junior 11-12, 2023 New York Young Performers Prize (NYYPP) Competition with $100 cash rewards
