Yoonjin Kim

Yoonjin Kim is a student who lives in Irvine, California. As a child, she travelled between many different countries. She has played the violin since 1st grade in Korea, and is now studying with Daphny Chen in Irvine. She enjoys playing violin for others, and is currently volunteering at senior centers by performing music. She has completed the Certificate of Merit levels four through nine, earning Convention, State, and Branch Honors for multiple consecutive years. As a soloist, she has won 1st place in the Orange County VOCE junior division, 1st place in the American Protégé Competition, and 1st place in the Orange County Concerto Competition.
