Yucheng Jin

Yucheng Jin was born in 2002. I have been fond of music since childhood and was enlightened by Mrs. Ma Yan in Pudong Children's Palace. Since May 2011, I have been studying under Associate Professor Zhou Mingen, director of the String Music Department of Shanghai Music Affiliated Middle School. Under the teacher's guidance, my major has made great progress. In 2013, I took part in the third National Children's "Little Admiralty" Violin Competition and won the silver prize in the big children's group. In 2014, I was admitted to Grade One of the Middle School attached to Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 2017, I was selected into the "Little Angel of Music" excellent talent cultivation program. In October, I cooperated with international conductor Mr. Tang Muhai in Paganini "Bell". In October of the same year, I successfully held a solo concert in Shanghai Music Affiliated High School. Attend Shlomo Mintz International Music Masterclass in July 2017. In January 2018, I participated in Zhuhai International Master Class. I was mentored by professors such as Boris Kuschnir, Ning Feng and Shlomo Mintz and received favorable comments. In January 2018, I won the second prize of youth group in the 8th Hong Kong International Violin Competition. In 2018 and 2019, I was twice funded by the "Music Talent to help Fly Program" of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and successfully held the "Thanksgiving Alma Mater" violin solo concert in He Luting Concert Hall. In July 2019, I won the fourth place of cooper International Violin Competition for Young People in the United States, the third place of 2019 Xiamen First International Violin Competition in August, and the first place of Group C of 2019 SSC International Violin Competition in South Korea. In 2020, I will be admitted to New England and Manhattan School of Music. At the same time, I was admitted to Shanghai Conservatory of Music as a exempted student. I once served as the chief of Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Now I learning from Professor Yu Lina and Teacher Zhang Yang.
