Biography - Zeyi Tian Zeyi Tian, Chinese classical saxophonist Member of Wind Art Committee of Hebei Musicians Association Member of Baoding Musicians Association Educational experience: In September 2018, I was admitted to the Orchestra Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music with first place in my major and worked as a teaching assistant. I will graduate with a bachelor's degree in June 2022. In September 2022, he entered the Woodwind Department of the New England Conservatory of Music with a high scholarship and graduated in May 2024 with a master's degree. In September 2024, he was admitted to the School of Music of the University of Minnesota with a large scholarship to pursue a doctoral degree and worked as a teaching assistant. Award experience: In 2014, he participated in the third Hebei Province non-professional excellent wind team performance and won the gold medal of the performance group. In 2017, he participated in the second prize of the Youth group of the 4th "Silk Road" China International Saxophone Art Exhibition in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Exhibition Area. In 2019, he participated in the "10th Wind, Percussion Solo and Ensemble Performance in South China" and won the Gold Medal of Youth (Professional Group). In 2019, he won the title of "Excellent Communist Youth League Member". From 2019 to 2021, he was selected into the "Outstanding Talent Training Program of Xinghai Conservatory of Music".   From 2018 to 2021, I won the Comprehensive Scholarship, Professional Excellence Scholarship, Academic Award, and Work Excellence Award of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Awarded "Excellent Student Leader" of Xinghai Conservatory of Music in 2021 In 2022, won first place in the saxophone professional group of "The First Online Wind String Percussion Exhibition of China Orchestra Network 2022". In 2022, he graduated from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music as an "outstanding graduate". In 2022, he won second place in the Saxophone professional youth group of the 13th Savshinsky International Music Competition. He received the New England Conservatory of Music Dean's Scholarship from 2022 to 2024. In 2022, he won second place in the adult category of the "2022 American Young Musicians International Classical Music Competition" (the first place is vacant). In 2024, he will be supported by the Oberg Music Scholarship in the United States and continue to study for the degree of Doctor of Music Arts (DMA). Important performance experience: From 2019 to 2022, as the principal of the Saxophone Orchestra of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, he performed with the Symphony Orchestra of Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Huizhou, Dongguan and other places. In 2020, as the principal saxophonist of the Symphony Orchestra of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, together with the Symphony Orchestra of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, he completed the "Xinghai Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra 2021 New Year Concert". 2023 As a principal saxophonist, he performs Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dance with the internationally renowned conductor Hugh Wolff. In 2024, as principal saxophonist, he performed Mussorgsky's "Picture Exhibition" with the famous American conductor David Loebel and the NEC Symphony Orchestra.
