Zeynep Temel

Born in Istanbul in 2006, Zeynep Temel embarked on her musical journey at an early age. From the second grade of primary school through to the eighth grade of middle school, she actively participated in various events as both a soloist and chorister. Her talent was recognized when she was admitted to Maltepe University’s Part-Time Conservatory at the end of sixth grade. Driven by her passion for music, Zeynep continued her education at Aydın Doğan Fine Arts High School. There, she began her formal vocal training under the tutelage of Şebnem Paker Odabaş. Her studies expanded with private vocal lessons from Ahmet Öncül and subsequently from Ozan Kutlar. A notable highlight of her early career includes performing Muammer Sun’s “Bozkırın Sesi” with an orchestra as part of World Environment Week, an event organized under the auspices of the Presidency. This performance was broadcast internationally. In 2024, Zeynep reached a significant milestone by gaining admission to the Opera Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory. She also took the stage as a young talent at the Aydın Doğan Award ceremony. Since 2024, she has been continuing her studies and vocal development with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülay Uyar Hatip. Her commitment to artistic growth was further demonstrated in 2025 when she participated in a vocal masterclass at her institution with Richard Hetherington. On June 14, 2025, Zeynep received a platinum award at the Mozart International Music Competition.
