Zhang Huiyi Yangjuan

Born in 1992 in Yuzhou, Henan Province, she is currently a doctoral student in composition at the College of Music and Arts, Dankook University, South Korea (Class of 2021). She completed her undergraduate studies at the College of Music and Dance, Henan Normal University, under the guidance of Professor Wang Yan, focusing on composition. She pursued her master’s and doctoral studies at Dankook University, studying with Professor Choi Seungsik.

In December 2022, she held her first solo composition recital at Dankook University. Her second solo concert was held in June 2023 at Recital Hall in South Korea, and her third concert took place in May 2024 at Jukjeon Music Hall. Her vocal composition Rain in the Bell Tower: The Chill of Cicadas (《雨霖铃·寒蝉凄切》) was published in the journal Contemporary Music.

Specializing in traditional composition techniques, she actively explores diverse forms of contemporary music, delving into emerging trends in musical creation. She is committed to advancing innovation and development in the field of musical arts.
