Zhenghao Wang

Zhenghao Wang is currently studying composition at the Royal College of Music, London for a Bachelor of Music with Edwin Hiller and Jonathan Cole, who is the Head of Composition. Having learnt the Dizi (Chinese bamboo flute) as his primary instrument since young, Zhenghao draws musical inspiration across traditional Chinese practices and contemporary Western approaches. His works has received multiple public performances at the college, including performances by the Consort 21 ensemble, where he wrote a duet for Dizi and baroque flute, and the Head On Photo Festival. Zhenghao’s work for the Singapore Chinese Orchestra was selected as part of its Composer's Workshop and received its public premiere at the Singapore Conference Hall in 2020.
