Zihan Sun

Zihan Sun, a talented pianist born in China in 1997, embarked on her musical journey at the age of 3, She honed her skills at the prestigious Sichuan Conservatory of Music from 2014 to 2018, garnering acclaim for her performances and winning top prizes in competitions such as The Sixth Asian Youth Music Competition and The Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition.

In 2018, Zihan continued her musical education at the Royal Northern College of Music under the guidance of Stephen Savage and BingBing Li. Recognized for her exceptional talent, Zihan was awarded the Helen Rachael Mackaness Trust Scholarship in 2020 to pursue an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma at RNCM.

Since graduating from RNCM, Zihan has graced stages across the UK, France, Prague, Italy and China, captivating audiences with her solo and chamber performances. Additionally, she shares her expertise as a dedicated young educator at a music academy in Manchester, inspiring the next generation of musicians.
